Not a big deal, because transportation is cheap and flights to Bangkok are easy to find. Also if you hesitate when you’re supposed to cross the street you might lose more than your budget.
If you do decide to make the trip and you find cheap tickets to Bangkok, then you have to see the lying Buddha of Wat Pho.
